Montréal - Québec Trip Plan

It has been in the middle of June. Months of summer vacation is approaching. My friends and I decided our trip plan at the end of June.

0 Introduction🔍

I used to plan to go to Ottawa, Montréal and Québec with my friends during our spring break in March. However, we had to postpone the plan indefinitely due to COVID.

On a random day at the beginning of June, my friends and I talked about our plan for summer. We found that none of us are returning to our country and therefore we came up with the plan of traveling. At first, we planned to travel in Alberta. But our spare time doesn’t fit and we finally agreed to make a short-term trip in Québec. Having determined the time, we made a quick arrangement of Montréal and Québec city. We have made the scheme quickly on the basis of the previous research in March. We have booked all tickets and stays within a week to leave more time for arrangement and dealing with accidents.

1 Overview🎒

Our Trip will be taking place during June 24 and June 28. The last Exam day of 2021-2022 semester is June 23, which means June 24 is the Beginning of Summer Vacation😊. The trip doesn’t include any flight. We will use VIA Rail¹ to get to Montréal from Toronto and back to Toronto from Québec city. We will use Orléans Express² from Montréal to Québec city. We hope that the trip will be a happy and fulfilled Trip of Culture and Nature, relieve us from the academy of last semester in the two historical cities of Montréal and Québec city.

2 Detailed Plan📋

6.24 Toronto - Montréal

We will wake up very early in the morning and gather in the Toronto Union Staion. We will get to Montréal by VIA Rail at 6:47, we will arrive at the Montréal Gare Centrale at approximately 12:04. We will check in at the local Airbnb³ at 1pm.

6.25 Montréal - Québec

We will check out before 10am and have a short tour in Montréal. We will go to Autocars de Montréal to take the Orléans Express at 13:00 to Québec city. We will arrive at the Gare du Palais at approximately 16:40. We will check in at the Auberge Internationale de Québec as soon as we get to Québec. We will visit the Downtown or Old Town of Québec.

Check out at 11:00 and continue our trip in Québec city. Go to Gare du Palais for the VIA Rail to Montréal which sets off at 12:36. Arrive at Montréal at approximately 15:54 and set off again at 16:56. Eventually get to Toronto Union Station at 22:03 and get home.
